Within the framework of joint work with the World Health Organization - Jordan Country Office and the Jordanian Ministry of Health, we held specialized training on the use of the electronic national registry for monitoring tuberculosis (TB Digital Surveillance) using DHIS2, in the presence of representatives of the World Health Organization and the International Organization for Migration and in the presence of the director of the national tuberculosis program - Directorate of Chest Diseases, Dr. Ibrahim Falah Al-Maayah, and the representative of the TB program, Dr. Suhaib Abu Al-Filat, Head of the Statistics Department. The training included the use of the electronic system DHIS2 and the applications of data collection, analysis, presentation, and use of the data resulting from the electronic registry. The specialized training continued over five days in the presence of nursing, data entry and information technology staff. At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of using reliable and accurate data to improve monitoring and treatment of tuberculosis and other infectious diseases was emphasized.
